Bare with the quality, not my best stamp, true, but I just took less than few minutes with this one, and I just want to get a point straight.
I have been noticing this patern. When a troll decides to get into an happy trigger mode, and begins spamming or just leaving some "extreme" comments in the page of a certain artist, and the said artist counters-back along with his/her fans, using the same phrase, every single time.
"Get a life!" They use this like if their main weapon, as judging that the troll has nothing better to do than "flame" them (whatever you judge to be considered as a "flame")
Mind you, while I'm not in favor of trolls spamming, and I agree they could spend their time with more productive activities, those artists and fantards who get "attacked" are no better either. If they're under a troll menace, it's because they did something stupid, or a troll wouldn't even bother to "stalk" them.
Yet those artists and fantards keep using the same phrase even against non-trolls. They use it against those who are after art thieves, just like it happened to me recently, where I was told "Your life is tragic!" just because I posted proofs and ranted about a traced picture, and claimed that hunting down tracers is like a hobby for me. They use it against people who do nothing more but to give constructive critiques. Mind you, for some reason commenting is enabled for most of the art pieces in DA. Expect to receive unpleasent comments every now and then. People come here to spend their bit of free time expecting to find decent art, and instead, they are slammed against recolors, traces, and horrible artwork that happens to be "popular". THEY ARE PEOPLE WITH LIVES. Just because they're spending their free time to comment in what is wrong in a page, is it enough reason to be told to "get a life"?!
How about this.
How about -you- get a life, and start accepting the critiques from others and work in your artwork?
How about you get a life, and start learning english instead of making our eyes bleed with your engrish?
How about you get a life, and do something more productive like homework, instead of taking photos "a la myspace" and spamming the website with them?
How about your get a life, and grab a pencil and learn how to draw instead of overloading DA's servers with -shit-, and one word comments?
How about you get a life, and shut down your computer, so this becomes more of a enjoyable place for the artists and art watchers who like to take a bit of their free time to wander around other artists and don't get hit in their noses with your drama and crap?
Ahhh~ I can't wait for January.
tl;dr : A stamp for those who have been told "Get a life" for a stupid reason. Feel free to use it.
